Governance
PromptHub is governed by PromptDAO, a community-led organization empowered to manage:
PromptVault rule changes (e.g. licensing logic)
Treasury disbursements and incentive models
Certification programs for verified prompts and agents
Parameter tuning for ranking weights and royalties
Governance mechanics:
1 $PHUB = 1 vote (snapshot-based or on-chain)
Delegation support and reputation-weighted scoring
Multi-sig and council-based override for emergency controls
🗳️ Enhanced Governance Framework
To ensure fair representation across the ecosystem, PromptHub implements a balanced governance approach:
Voting Power Adjustments:
Locked Team Tokens: Team tokens in the lock period have 0.5x voting power to prevent undue influence
Creator Boost: Active creators with proven track records receive a 1.2x voting multiplier
Validator Authority: Verified validators receive 1.1x voting weight for security parameters
Long-term Staking: Users who lock tokens for 12+ months receive up to 1.5x voting weight
Specialized Committees:
Technical Committee: Focuses on protocol upgrades and security measures
Economic Committee: Oversees fee structures and monetary parameters
Content Committee: Guides content standards and curation policies
Each committee includes elected community members, subject matter experts, and core team representatives
Proposal Lifecycle:
Discussion phase (minimum 7 days)
Formal proposal with implementation specification
Community review period (minimum 3 days)
Voting period (5 days)
Time-locked execution (2 days grace period after approval)
Quadratic Voting for Resource Allocation:
Treasury disbursements use quadratic voting to prevent whale dominance
Allows more equitable funding distribution based on collective preference strength
Implemented with ZK-proofs to prevent vote manipulation through wallet splitting
